What Brought You to Southern MD?: I came to SOMD because of a job offer at the Holiday Inn in Solomon’s as their Project Director.  It gave me an opportunity to be closer to my mom and family who lived in Baltimore.  I stayed with that position for a while before accepting another job at Channel 10 where I did layout  and design of the Best Buys Magazine and content writer for a publication designed for The National Chambers of Commerce.  This was a separate venture on behalf of the owners of Channel 10.  When my husband started his business, I left my job to help him.  This gave me more time to pursue my passion in the health and fitness world which I had been a part of since 1986.

Job Title and Employer: I am self-employed and have a business called, Breath of Hope Yoga.  My partner and I work independently with, and conduct retreats for people who have cancer and other chronic illness.
