The Good Samaritan Community is playing a big role in the initiatives and goals of the American Red Cross. We are planning a blood drive on Friday, January 13th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Good Sam. Did you know that 80 percent of blood donations are given at blood drives hosted by generous sponsoring organizations like ours?
We’re proud to partner with the Red Cross and be a part of all they do for our community, our country, and around the world. The blood collected by the Red Cross helps millions of patients in over 2,400 hospitals across the country and to keep up with demand, the Red Cross must collect 14,000 units of blood each day. Consider being a part of this life saving event TODAY by donating blood, volunteering during our drive, and/or promoting our blood drive with your co-workers, friends and family. There are many ways you can help, but most importantly, we hope you come out to donate.
Here are two ways to sign up and schedule your donation time on January 13th:

2. Sign up directly with the Red Cross at www.redcrossblood.org. Sign in or create an account and select your appointment time under Good Sam’s Blood Drive.
