Disciples Den Gets a New HVAC System

Dennis Allen was tired of recharging the coolant for the Disciples Den HVAC as much as twice a year, only to have it leak out again.  Kevin was tired of having room users tell us the heat or “air” isn’t working.  The costs of heating and cooling this space were rising and somebody said, “ENOUGH!”  In the space of 4 months gifts were received, fundraisers were held, plans were drawn up and finally the solution has come to pass.  Dennis said, “It will be fun to see this space without all the duct work.  We won’t need it any more because each room will now have it’s own heating/cooling unit and it’s own control.  No longer will we need to heat or cool the whole building for a group that uses only one room.”  Yeah, to no more heating oil for this building.  Based on the efficiency of these units even our electric bill for the building will be less that it was previously.  Special Thanks to Dennis Allen, Kevin King, Rich Slavik, Tommy Benefield and John Jewell who gave time and expertise to get this project installed.
