News from the Fellowship Front: (Written on January 3)
First, I want to give a shout-out to my November team: Diane R., Christa B., Diana K., Cocoa M. and Carol G., because there was a ‘whole lot of baking going on’. Maybe it’s the coolness of the weather, but they provided yummy baked pumpkin and apple treats, pound cake aplenty, and cheese and crackers.
I am pleased to announce that Teresa S. is joining the fellowship ministry. She will be assigned to Ginger’s team. Welcome aboard, Teresa.
Now we must thank the December team: Sue V., Colleen C., Dale H., Deb U., Andie S., and Jill W. In spite of the holiday rush, they provided a steady flow of wonderful treats too. (Okay, I love those snickerdoodles.) And thanks for sponsoring Christmas Cookie Sunday. I think we just need to do that earlier in the month next year.
Sue V. will cover for me while I am away over the next couple of months. We just need to remember that the Lenten soup suppers start on February 25.
