Hello everyone. A round of thanks to Ele B. who hosted our last knit-crochet night at her home. We all had a hard time selecting the key lime pie or the chocolate yummy concoction for dessert. But the special event of the evening was the knitted, lined, cream-colored coat made in the fisherman’s knit pattern that her uncles had made way back when. It was stunning and in such wonderful condition. Thanks Ele.

Our next knit-crochet night is this Monday, March 24, 6:30-8:30 pm, at Ginger L.’s home. Hope we have another good turnout. The April 14 knit-crochet night will be held at my home.

On Sunday, because of my announcement before the service, we gave away two prayer shawls and one baby blanket and Clarissa has asked for one fostitchingr her niece.

Right now, we have 20 prayer shawls, afghans. Three are hanging on the racks outside the sanctuary, 12 in storage and 5 are at my house (because we need another tote).

We received a lovely thank-you note from Susanne W. (a friend of Corinne’s) for the crocheted shawl made by Ginger L.

We briefly discussed a summer craft-cooking-sewing camp. We will discuss this further at the next knit-crochet night. And we will also talk about the mid-day stitching circle.

Kim B. gave me a card with a refrigerator magnet from everyone for the time I was away. This made me feel very special. Thanks, ladies. I missed you too, greatly!

Until our next gathering, keep stitching…..
